IN BUILD / FITNESS MARKETPLACE
Spotter: Find a gym or a trainer the way you find a home.
Spotter is a marketplace for gyms and personal trainers, with both sides treated as first class. Gyms and trainers list themselves, and people search and send an inquiry. Think of it as a listings site for fitness, the way real estate has one.
What is notable
- Gyms and trainers are equals: each lists itself, and people can search both.
- Its first listings cover Santa Clara County, each tagged with where it came from, and gyms and trainers list themselves on top.
- A privacy page and a deletion form are already in place.
Your data
Gyms and trainers who list themselves control their own listing, and the privacy page takes requests to delete what we store.

Why we built it
Finding a gym or a trainer still runs on word of mouth. Spotter exists to give both sides a listing they own and a search people can trust. It is in build, starting in Santa Clara County.
